In the middle of the night the subtle glow of Los Angles is still visible in the western sky from Joshua Tree's desert. This past weekend we camped along the boy scout trail once again, just under 2 miles in this time. One of the the most enjoyable things about Joshua Tree for me is the peacefulness of roaming around in the silent night. The half moon provided some lighting, but walking with my headlamp I sat on some boulders and took this long exposure. More photos from the recent trip here.
