Late in the afternoon snowboarder's chased their shadows down Bear Mountain, squeezing in their last runs of the day.
The ever changing element of being on a mountain makes it one of my favorite places. The weather can bring chilly clouds and fog one moment and warm sun and crisp clear air the next. As the sun rises and falls the colors, shadows, and textures of the mountain reveal themselves in all kinds of interesting and pleasant ways. On the way up the chairlift you get to experience all of those things and also view the skiers and snowboarders cruising down the mountain.
