Last year I worked on a documentary film about the story of acid rain in the Adirondacks, NY. Each season the Adirondack Council, an organization dedicated to public involvement on issues regarding what's best for the people and the park, sends out news letters to members and people interested in recent events and happenings. I was happy to hear from their latest letter that the National Acid Precipitation Assessment Program (NAPAP) released its new report to Congress describing the huge environment, public health, and financial benefits of the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments, as well as there looking forward to additional reductions in the near future. One of the reasons I made this documentary was to educate people about a truly beautiful place worth protecting so please check out the film as well as to stay up to date and informed on what's going on in the park.
